Clarence Cruz, owner of Art-genuity, is an artist, art educator, and metacognitive specialist currently living in Ohio. He was born in Tempe, Arizona, where he was inspired by the megalithic beauty of the Grand Canyon to be a painter. He and his family then relocated to Chicago, Illinois, where he continued his studies and eventually received his Bachelor’s degree in Painting and Art History from the Art Institute of Chicago. Afterward, he continued his education in Ohio at the University of Cincinnati, where he received his Master’s degree in Visual Art Education. Clarence is dedicated to exploring and expanding his consciousness through creating different works of art, learning different philosophies, and developing metacognition practices.
